Presenting Digital Twins for Hotels at SCALEUP B2B
Last Saturday, I left my charger at a well-known (and not exactly cheap) hotel, and I realized it when I was already on my way back to Madrid.
It took 48 hours to get confirmation that they had found it and to be told that I had to send a courier to pick it up.
The delay happened because Reception, Housekeeping, and Lost & Found simply don’t talk to each other.
The funny thing is: if information had flowed quickly and proactively, I would have picked up my charger myself, because I was still near the hotel in time to do so.
The moral? The hotel was missing three key words: process integration, proactivity, and customer focus.
I’m sharing this because today we’re at SCALEUP B2B, presenting our EAZY technology – designed to make hotel operations more efficient by intelligently managing everything that happens inside (for example, when I lose an item and a housekeeper finds it).
We provide a conversational AI tool fully integrated with hotel processes and business rules. A commodity technology, easily integrable and customizable.

This pilot project was carried out in collaboration with the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero, with the fantastic support of Beatriz Heras Paz-Albo, who helped us deeply understand the business and engage with hotels.
Now that the pilot is being deployed in real hotel environments, it’s also serving as the foundation for other use cases, such as intelligent management of tourist destinations through digital platforms.

Today, I’d like to share a major achievement for #UGROUND, along with a reflection on digital transformation in Spain.
On November 20, during #IPFest, we had the honor of receiving the IPFest Award for Knowledge Transfer Scale-Up, winning both the Regional (CAM) and National awards.
A special thanks to Raúl Mata Jiménez and Paco Abad for their support and for organizing such an incredible event that connected ten venues simultaneously – a true celebration of the quality of research and innovation produced in Spain.
